Apple’s efficiency is definitely on another level. Only a day ago it released the iOS 12 stable version. Now, wasting no time the Cupertino giant is seeding out the iOS 12.1 developer beta for its users. The latest iOS beta brings a new build number to the devices which go by 16b5059d. With iOS 12.1 developer beta, Apple also brings back the Group Face-time feature.

Apart from the group face-time, the Settings interface is also getting some changes. Now after updating to iOS 12.1, you will see a new Siri Shortcuts under Settings > Siri and Search. This replaces the suggested shortcuts tab you were having on iOS 12 previous version.
Another change you may see is the Emergency SOS has a new feature called Countdown Sound again you can find in the Settings. It is basically a countdown sound which will ring when your SOS is counting down to call for Emergency services.
The iOS 12.1 developer beta is available for only the users with Apple developer ID. The update is rolling over the air and it weighs a massive 2.77 GB. The changelog mentions bug fixes and improvements to the various devices into which it will knock in. As it is a large update, you can use Wi-Fi to download it. Go to Settings > General > Software Update. Check for the update if it is rolling yet. If the OTA shows up, download and install it. The entire process may take a while
