Its hard to believe how time flies by, just four years back, Apple debuted their first original Apple Watch. And, those lucky ones who still are the proud owner of the device, should wear it less often, if you want to retain it.

Likewise, is for the Apple first generation Apple Watch released in 2016. Yes, even this device owners should wear it less. No why you may ask, well, as per the reports in, Apple Authorized Service Providers are not repairing the first generation Apple Watches, rather they are giving them or replacing them with Apple Watch Series 2 units.

According to an insider report posted by MacRumors, Apple has authorized their service providers to replace the first generation 42mm Apple Watches with the Series 2 units when the first generation watch is brought in for repairs.

Though, still, there is no mentioning for the 38mm models. And, according to the document, the reason for watch replacement is, Apple is facing parts shortage issues. And, have said the original and first-generation Apple Watch units will be replaced in February and shall continue till April. Yes, in case the supply constraint maintains, possibilities are on for Apple to replace the watches even after April.
